Jenny Zook coordinates all library instruction programs at the law school and provides library instruction on a variety of legal research topics at the law school, on campus, and to the legal
community in Wisconsin.
She has taught library and research skills for many years, including as lead instructor for a team taught course on legal resources at the School of Library and Information Studies (SLIS) and a course on online legal resources at Harper College, an advanced legal research course for paralegals. Jenny is a member of the Paralegal Certification Board at Madison College.
Much of Jenny's initial research experience
was gained during her tenure working in a busy law firm in Chicago, first,
as a reference librarian, and later as a legal information manager at an
American Lawyer Top 100 Law Firm.
She has published on a variety of topics related to legal research, technology and libraries.
She is a past President of the Law Librarians Association of Wisconsin (LLAW), and currently Chairs the Public Relations Committee for Law Librarians Association of Wisconsin (LLAW).
Jenny is the mother of identical twins. Both daughters and mother are avid readers, and everyone in her family enjoys playing an instrument. One daughter plays harp for the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra, (WYSO) and Jenny has become an experienced harp hauler.
