Myra began working at UW Law School in late 2019, shortly after finishing graduate studies and moving to Madison. She provides chief administrative support to the Dean and manages operations for the Dean's Office. She also assists the Associate Deans for Research & Faculty Development, Experiential Learning, and Administration. Myra is a member of the Business Office team and provides logistical support to the Faculty Appointments Committee and the Tenure Committee.
Before life in Madison, Myra has studied and worked in the Bay Area, New York, China, and Japan, specializing in modern Chinese literature and culture, as well as language pedagogy. She enjoys learning about the legal field through the broad scope of her current work, with particular interest in interdisciplinary scholarship spanning law, science, history, and literature.
Outside of work, Myra is a fan of board games, martial arts novels, lakes and parks (especially dog-friendly ones), and fantasy football. She also maintains a love-hate relationship with disc golf and running.
