My role at the Center for Patient Partnerships is to coordinate our undergraduate education track, the Resource Navigator Program. This involves both teaching the Legal Studies 400 course, Understanding the Impacts of Health Harming Social and Legal Needs and direct supervision of student learning in the community. I love working with undergraduates! My approach to teaching is grounded in social justice and my teaching philosophy involves first unlearning the damaging socialization processes we all learn as individuals living in a majority culture that is dominated by white supremacy, capitalism and patriarchy.
