Biography

Janice Toliver joined the Law School as the Dean’s Executive Assistant in January 2019. In addition to being Chief Administrative Support to the Law School Dean and managing the Dean’s Office, Janice aids the Associate Deans of Research and Faculty Development, Clinical and Experiential Learning, and Administration.

Janice brings extensive administrative and executive support experience having served in administrative and executive support roles at the Wisconsin State Public Defender, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Wisconsin Supreme Court Office of Lawyer Regulation, and City of Madison City Attorney’s Office. Janice is delighted and honored to be a part of the University of Wisconsin Law School and the UW-Madison community. 

A native of Chicago, with a Longview Texas foundation, Janice enjoys pursuing higher education, being engaged in the community, and relaxing with a good book or movie.
