Biography

Allie Boldt is the Legal Research Director for the State Democracy Research Initiative at University of Wisconsin Law School. Before joining the Law School, she worked for the state of Wisconsin as an Attorney for the Department of Safety & Professional Services and as a Senior Policy Analyst for the Department of Health Services. Allie also brings a background in democracy law from her experience as a Legal Fellow and a Counsel for the nonprofit organization Demos, where she focused on money in politics and voting rights from 2015-2019. 

Allie graduated summa cum laude from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota in 2013. After law school, she clerked for the Hon. Judge Thomas Hayes in Sherburne County, Minnesota.
