Biography

Before joining the Legal Research & Writing Faculty, Andrew Norman served as Senior University Legal Counsel in the University’s Office of Legal Affairs. In representing the University, his primary areas of practice included athletics compliance and contracting, corporate and business matters, procurement, taxation, sponsored research, and intellectual property. Prior to joining the University in 2010, Mr. Norman worked in the Madison office of Quarles & Brady LLP, where his practice focused on business and intellectual property litigation. 

Mr. Norman is a Badger through and through, with a B.B.A., with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business, and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He is a member of the Order of the Coif and was a Managing Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review.
