It will provide an overview of the basic principles of rate regulation and public utilities, with an emphasis on electricity providers. While the workshop will include legal issues related to large-scale, public utility transmission and generation projects, the focus will be on special considerations for emerging renewable energy projects, such as wind, biomass, waste-to-energy and biogas generation facility development in Wisconsin.
